American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist for a hospital-based Radiation Oncology department, requiring 4 years of experience and license if applicable.
Requirements
- License required if applicable
- BLS certification required, AHA preferred (Red Cross accepted at some facilities)
- 4 years of experience preferred
- Experience with Epic charting preferred
- Previous travel experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Hospital-based Radiation Oncology department
- Treats inpatient, outpatient, and pediatric patients including palliative care cases
- Busy, fast-paced, and stressful clinical environment
- Uses Varian TrueBeam, Ethos, Halcyon, ARIA, and AlignRT technology
- Uses Epic for charting
- Day shift with schedules varying daily and weekly based on patient volume
- 26-week assignment length
- Performs all duties outlined in the Staff Radiation Therapist job description
- Participates in warm-ups, opening shifts, closing shifts, clinical patient care, and administrative duties
- Flu vaccination required with no religious or medical exemptions permitted
- Local candidates considered if residing within 60 miles of Boston, at a reduced pay rate
- Open to candidates with previous travel experience
