MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a Travel Radiation Therapist to work at a client site in Richmond, Virginia.

Requirements

• Licensure required in most states.
• Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy.
• Current CPR Certification.
• At least eighteen months of Radiation Therapy experience, preferably in a critical care setting.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Deliver therapeutic doses of radiation for cancer treatment.
• Discuss treatment plans with patients in partnership with clinical oncologists and physicians.
• Determine correct radiation dosage and treatment area.
• Explain potential side effects and management strategies to patients.
• Safely administer radiotherapy treatments.
• Operate radiotherapy equipment.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and professional guidelines.
• Provide quality, cost‑effective patient care professionally.
• Maintain an environment focused on patient care and timely service.
• Promote and maintain a safe work environment for staff and patients.
• Keep accurate records of patient treatment regimens.
