This is an immediate travel opening. The Radiation Therapist should have at least one year of experience and hold a current BLS certification and ARRT (T) National Certification. State licensure may be required.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed doses of radiation to specific body parts using radiation therapy equipment.
• Position patients accurately and comfortably for each treatment session.
• Verify treatment settings and patient identity before delivering therapy.
• Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety and comfort.
• Use imaging technology (CT, X‑rays) to guide accurate treatment delivery.
• Document treatment details and maintain accurate patient records.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, dosimetrists, and other team members.
• Educate patients and families on procedures, side effects, and care during treatment.
• Inspect, maintain, and calibrate radiation therapy equipment regularly.
• Follow strict radiation safety protocols for both patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience as a Radiation Therapist.
• Current BLS certification.
• ARRT (T) National Certification.
• State licensure may be required.

Location: Pompton Plains, New Jersey. Travel assignment of 13 weeks. Pay: 8‑hour shifts, 40 hours per week, tax‑free stipend (amount to be determined). Job ID # .
