Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule Day Shift: 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00)
Job Description The Home Health Registered Nurse will provide skilled nursing care in a home setting to patients with varied diagnoses including med/surg, cardiac, orthopedic conditions, post-surgical care, and respiratory issues. The nurse will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders.
Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records.
Educate patients and their families on care plans and treatment options.
Utilize various medical equipment and devices, including gait belts, walkers, and oxygen supplies.
Identify signs and symptoms of physical, sexual, and psychological abuse.
Implement safety and injury prevention strategies in home settings.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Minimum of 1 year of Home Health experience required.
OASIS training preferred.
Current Florida RN license or Compact license required.
BLS certification required.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for home visits.
COVID-19 vaccination required or an approved exemption on file.
Flu vaccination or declination required.
