Travel Progressive Care Unit RN

• Shift Time: Start Time: 07:00 PM End Time: 07:00 AM
• Shift Type: Night Shift
• Duration: 13 Weeks

General Information

• Number of Beds - 34
• Number of Staff - 44
• Type of staff:
• Day Shift - 11 PCTs, 12 RNs
• Night Shift - 6 PCTs, 13 RNs
• Patient Ratios - 1:5 for PCU level, 1:6 for MST level
• Type of equipment - VS machines, EKG, bladder scanning, glucometers, continuous pulse oximetry
• EMR - Meditech
• On Call Requirement - None
• Floating Requirement - within scope of practice

Typical hiring profile

Skill Set Most recruited for: Travel RNs

Must have:

• BLS
• ACLS
• NIH Certification

Preferred or nice to have:

• PCCN, TNCC, TCAR certifications
• Experience in ICU/PCU level of care, precepting experience

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

• Foley and NGT insertions
• Wound care
