Responsibilities
As a registered nurse – progressive care unit (RN PCU), you will care for patients who require a moderate level of monitoring and assessment but do not need the resources of the intensive care unit. The PCU provides an intermediary level of hospital care. Telemetry units, intermediate care units, direct observation units, step-down units, or transitional care units are sometimes called progressive care units.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 1 year of recent acute care experience in the specialty
- Active RN license
