Travel Physical Therapist - Rehab

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an inpatient rehab unit at a critical access hospital, requiring 1+ year of experience and offering flexibility across inpatient, outpatient, and home visit settings.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of PT experience required
• BLS certification required
• MT state license required if applicable
• Experience with documentation, assessment, pain assessment, and patient/family education
• New grads may be considered

Responsibilities

• Critical access hospital setting with outpatient, inpatient, and home visit services including a swing bed program in a rural community
• 3 outpatient PT clinics plus inpatient rehab coverage, with staff shifting between areas based on need
• Shift availability for 4x10 or 5x8 hour schedules, day shift
• Hours may vary from 34-40 per week depending on census or caseload
• Every 3rd weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• No floating to sister facilities
• Epic charting system preferred
• Responsibilities include evaluating, planning, and implementing individualized treatment programs to improve mobility, reduce pain, and support patient independence
• Collaborates with providers and care teams across acute, outpatient, and long-term care settings
• Rural community setting offers broad clinical exposure across multiple care areas
• Located near Glacier National Park, Flathead Lake, and several ski resorts for outdoor recreation
• Small-town environment allows clinicians to build close relationships with patients
• Open to first-time travelers with at least 1 year of experience
• Accepts local candidates
• No RTO restrictions
