American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an Outpatient setting requiring 1+ years of experience and a TX PT license, with first-time travelers welcome. Details
Outpatient clinic setting within a rehabilitation center Day shift schedule, 5x8 hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM 13-week assignment length Uses Epic charting system Treats orthopedic, neurologic, and cardiopulmonary patient populations Requirements
Minimum 1 year of experience required TX PT license required (license required if applicable; pending license accepted) BLS certification required Epic charting experience required Experience with orthopedic conditions including joint replacements, sprains, and post-surgical rehabilitation Experience with neurologic conditions such as stroke, Parkinson's disease, and spinal cord injury Proficiency in modalities including E-stim, ultrasound, and traction Skilled in patient assessment, documentation, and home exercise program development Additional Information
Responsibilities include patient evaluation, treatment planning, and progress documentation across orthopedic and neurologic caseloads Utilizes adaptive devices, assistive equipment, and various therapeutic modalities in treatment Provides patient and family education on home exercise programs and safety practices Onboarding modules completed onsite during orientation First-time travelers are accepted for this position Candidates residing in certain nearby counties are not eligible for this contract Previous staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler All requested time off must be submitted and approved in advance
