American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an Inpatient Rehab position, offering day shifts and welcoming new graduates. Details
Rehabilitation hospital setting covering both inpatient and outpatient care Unit consists of 93 beds with 80 currently staffed Patient population spans all ages, with an average age of 65 and occasional pediatric cases Caseload is approximately 60% neurological conditions (spinal cord injury, stroke, MS, ALS, Parkinson's) and 40% other diagnoses Typical caseload is 6-7 patients per day at 1 hour each, with 6-6.5 hours of direct patient care Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM No weekend scheduling required Uses WellSky EMR Requirements
BLS certification required New graduates accepted Experience with neurological conditions including stroke, MS, ALS, Parkinson's, spinal cord injury, and TBI preferred Familiarity with post-op spinal surgery and spinal mobilization techniques preferred Experience with cognitive disorders, dementia, and Alzheimer's care preferred Knowledge of Neurodevelopmental Technique (NDT) preferred License required if applicable Additional Information
Primary responsibilities include evaluation and treatment of patients with a strong focus on neurological rehabilitation Scrub attire required in black and/or red Open to first-time travelers Local candidates accepted at the same rate
