American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 12-week travel assignment in an inpatient rehabilitation setting, requiring an active Florida PT license and BLS certification. Details
Inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF) setting within a 467-bed hospital, including a new 26-bed IRF unit Physical Therapy department staffed with approximately 40 team members Day shift schedule, typically 8:00 AM-4:30 PM or 9:00 AM-5:30 PM 1:1 patient ratio Uses specialized equipment including treadmill, car simulators, RT300, Bioness systems, and BITS Documentation completed in Meditech Rotating weekend call requirements Typical treatment sessions run 1.5 hours and include attending team conferences Requirements
Active PT license in Florida required (license required if applicable) Current BLS certification required Minimum 2 years of experience required IRF or SNF experience preferred Additional Information
Responsibilities include conducting extended treatment sessions and participating in interdisciplinary team conferences Light gray scrubs required Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
