Travel Physical Therapist - Home Health

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Home Health assignment, requiring 2+ years of acute and home care experience along with OASIS proficiency.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of acute hospital-based nursing care and home care experience required
• Certified Home Health experience with OASIS proficiency required
• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle required
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• MA state Physical Therapist license required, if applicable
• Must be able to pass a fit test using an N95 mask (PAPRs not available for this role)
• 1 supervisory signed reference from within the past two years required

Responsibilities

• Home Health setting providing physical therapy services to clients in their homes
• Day shift schedule, 8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, 40-hour guarantee
• Rotating weekends and holiday coverage required if needed
• No call requirements
• Utilizes rehabilitation equipment including splints, orthoses, prostheses, wheelchairs, ADL equipment, and various modalities
• Responsible for direct patient care including collaboration with interdisciplinary team members
• Participates in development of comprehensive patient plans of care
• 8 hours of non-billable orientation provided
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered
• Preference given to candidates within a 45-minute commute of the Pittsfield, MA office
• Mileage reimbursement provided only for travel to/from the office or satellite office, not from home
• Maximum of 5 days RTO accepted for this assignment, must be submitted in advance
