American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Home Health assignment requiring at least 1 year of home health experience and 2 years of overall clinical experience. Details
Home Health setting serving geriatric patients, including wound care cases Minimum of 23-24 visits per week required to qualify for a 40-hour guarantee Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) No weekend shifts required On-call is discretionary and not required May be asked to cover surrounding counties in addition to primary territory Uses Kinnser/Wellsky charting system, with all charting completed on-site and not taken home Mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate from first patient to last patient (not to or from home) Requirements
Minimum 1 year of Home Health experience and 2 years of overall clinical experience required BLS certification required Current, valid state license required at time of consideration - license must be in hand, pending licenses not accepted License required if applicable No history of license hits or disciplinary actions accepted Current driver's license required Must have reliable transportation and insurance OASIS experience preferred All required compliance documents must be available before start of patient care Additional Information
Patient-forward approach to care with emphasis on visit volume per week rather than daily patient counts Ideal candidates are punctual, self-starters, and diligent with completing charting Charting is completed using a tablet provided by the facility Free residential parking available COVID vaccination required, with religious declinations allowed; flu vaccination may be declined with documentation Compliance processing may take 2-3 weeks before clinician can begin seeing patients All requested time off must be submitted at time of consideration, as additional RTO will not be accepted after an offer is made Contract length ranges from 4-6 months, with less experienced clinicians required to commit to a full 6-month term Scrubs of any color accepted with closed-toe shoes required First-time travelers are welcome to apply Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius
