Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians)
• Bills within the respective setting, following guidelines for facilities
• Understand and comply with the PT board’s rules and regulations within the state
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team‑focused plan of care
• Understand adaptive equipment
• Evaluate and create a plan of care
• Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient’s condition.
• Use Medical Center computer systems to perform daily tasks.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of experience; new graduates encouraged.
• State‑specific licensing and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Good knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods and to bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning the assignment.

Compensation

Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
