Travel Physical Therapist - Acute Care Hospital

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with 1+ years experience for an acute care CAH setting supporting outpatient, inpatient, and home care services.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
• BLS certification required
• MN PT license required if applicable
• MN background study required
• Ortho and rehab skills required
• EPIC charting experience helpful

Responsibilities

• Acute care critical access hospital (CAH) setting with a 15-bed hospital and outpatient wellness center
• Provides physical therapy evaluation and treatment across outpatient, inpatient, and home care settings (no LTC)
• Includes PTA supervision
• Utilizes ultrasound, e-stim, and Tractium Ionto equipment
• Uses EPIC for charting
• 8-hour day shifts, generally 8:00-4:30, Monday-Friday with minimal weekend and holiday rotation required
• May float to other locations within therapy department only
• Responsibilities include physical therapy evaluation and treatment, along with PTA supervision
• Manager available at all times for support
• EPIC training provided as needed during orientation
• Scrub colors accepted include Ceil Blue, Khaki, Gray, and Chocolate Brown, or business casual attire
• All clinicians must badge in and out at the facility
• Accepts local candidates within 80 miles of the facility
• Candidates with prior employment at any Sanford Health location must have an end date at least 6 months prior to submission
