Travel Physical Therapist - Acute Care Hospital

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an acute care setting, offering an 8-hour day shift schedule with no call requirements.

Requirements

• Current BLS-AHA certification required
• MN state PT license required (license required if applicable)
• Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure
• Valid driver's license may be required when applicable

Responsibilities

• Acute care setting within the Physical Therapy unit
• 8-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week
• No call required and weekends not required
• Potential to work holidays
• Uses EPIC EMR system
• Plans, organizes, and delivers physical therapy programs to help patients recover and improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and prevent deformities
• Documents patient information for evaluation and analyzes therapeutic progress, recommending adjustments as needed
• Educates patients and family members on treatment plans and home exercise programs
• Must follow departmental documentation guidelines and all regulatory requirements
• All clinicians must badge in and out at the facility
• Local candidates may be accepted within an 80-mile radius of the facility
• Candidates who previously worked for this health system must have an end date at least 6 months prior to submission
