Job Details:
Schedule: Outpatient orthopedics, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a minimum of 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy, current license for the state of practice, two years of experience practicing as a physical therapist, and one year of outpatient orthopedic experience; experience treating strains, sprains, and fractures; ability to evaluate and treat patients with musculoskeletal injuries
Preferred Qualifications: Experience treating 14-16 patients per day; manual therapy techniques; experience working in outpatient orthopedic settings
Additional Information: Contract physical therapists will treat outpatient orthopedic injuries in a clinic setting while working in conjunction with a team of therapists. Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients, communicating treatment plans and evaluations effectively to medical teams, reporting patient progress to in-house doctors and specialists such as orthopedic surgeons and hand surgeons, and providing assistance to colleagues in identifying clinical issues.
