Travel Job Summary:
Physical Therapist Outpatient (PT OP) position located in Poughkeepsie, New York. This outpatient role involves providing neuro, vestibular, pelvic, and musculoskeletal therapy, including work with patients experiencing stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, weakness, and gait disturbances. The position requires managing a caseload independently and delivering comprehensive rehabilitation services across a flexible schedule.
Job Details:
Location: 45 Reade Place, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601
Schedule: Varying shifts between Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM, and Friday 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with a total of approximately 10 hours per day and a minimum of 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications: State of New York Physical Therapist (PT) license; at least 2 years of experience, including 2 years outpatient experience; neuro and/or pelvic experience; BLS certification; 3 years of total experience
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in both pelvic and neuro therapy; familiarity with ReDoc electronic medical record system (note if Cerner is used but not extensively); business casual attire, closed-toe footwear, no scrubs
Additional Information: The outpatient physical therapy team is self-sufficient, managing their caseload, patient intake, and associated clinical responsibilities such as stocking and laundering linens. There is no double-booking, and time is allocated for documentation.
