Provide physical therapy evaluation and treatment services within a Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) setting Manage a caseload of 8–10 patients per 8-hour shift, serving an adult to geriatric patient population Deliver therapeutic interventions for patients with diagnoses including respiratory failure and related conditions Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient treatment plans Participate in weekend coverage on an as-needed basis with no on-call requirements Float to additional locations within a 25-mile radius on a PRN basis as required Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program Active California Physical Therapist (PT) license Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist Experience in a SNF, sub-acute unit (SAU), or hospital setting Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience working with tracheostomy and/or ventilator-dependent patients Familiarity with respiratory failure treatment protocols in an acute or long-term acute care environment Open-minded and adaptable approach to patient care and team collaboration Why Join Us
