Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) position available on the Acute Rehabilitation Unit of a healthcare provider located in Rochester, New Hampshire. This role involves providing inpatient therapy services within a dedicated rehabilitation unit with a focus on neuro patient care. The position offers an opportunity to work with a highly experienced, collaborative team using state-of-the-art equipment in a supportive environment.
Job Details:
Schedule: Days shift, 8-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Valid New Hampshire license; evidenced inpatient care experience; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with neuro patients; advanced skills in neuro therapy preferred but not required
Additional Information:
Patient ratios: 5:1 therapy to patient, 6:1 nurse to patient
Unit specifics: 19 beds, staffed with Physical Therapists (PTs), Occupational Therapists (OTs), Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Patient Care Technicians (PCTs), and unit secretaries and technicians
Equipment: State-of-the-art technology and documentation system (Expanse)
Dress code: Scrubs (not color specified)
Certifications: BLS required
Hospital-specific policies and guidelines to be attached
Patient experience emphasis on good communication, customer service, and rounding
Unit recognizes outstanding team effort, with low turnover and high patient engagement
