Physical Therapist (Inpatient) role in a rural critical access hospital located in Chewelah, Washington. This position involves working primarily with inpatient therapy within a community hospital setting, offering flexibility in scheduling across a four-day workweek. Job Details:
Schedule: 8-hour shifts, minimum of 32 hours per week, Monday through Friday with flexibility for Tuesday through Friday. Workdays vary based on hospital census, with potential to adjust hours slightly upward if patient volume increases.
Required Qualifications: Valid Washington license; BLS certification; 1 year of experience; experience with inpatient therapy, charting with Epic preferred, and knowledge of acute care patient management.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in rural or critical access hospital settings.
Float: Float rotation may be required between units and facilities based on operational needs.
Additional Information: This position is generally 0.6 FTE (approximately 24 hours/week) with potential for slight schedule adjustments based on census fluctuations. The hospital supports interdisciplinary team collaboration, including physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services. Equipment used includes hoyer lifts, therapy stairs, stationary bikes, and parallel bars.
