Job Summary
nPharmacist Inpatient (Specialty: PHARM IP) in a hospital inpatient setting. This role involves providing comprehensive pharmacy services across all hospital service areas, including emergency, intensive care, inpatient wards, imaging, catheterization labs, and hospice. The position requires a detail-oriented, flexible, and dedicated professional to ensure optimal medication management and patient safety.

Job Details

• Location: Inpatient hospital department within a healthcare facility.
n
• Schedule: Rotating shifts, variable 10-hour shifts between 0600 and 2200, with every other weekend work. Shifts total 12 hours, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

• Required Qualifications: Colorado Pharmacist License, BLS certification; minimum of 2 years of hospital pharmacy experience; experience with sterile compounding and hospital pharmacy operations.

• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic electronic health records and Pyxis medication dispensing system; friendly, flexible, and hardworking individuals.

  • Hiring process includes profile review with the organization, interview with the unit manager, and department-specific orientation.
  n
  • Clinicians must be in state during the week of orientation, even if modules are remote.
  n
  • Hospital utilizes Epic as electronic health record system, Pyxis for medication dispensing, and sterile product compounding.
  n
  • The organization allows self-scheduling and block scheduling.
  n
  • Cancellation policy permits up to four shifts cancellation per 13-week assignment, three for shorter assignments.
  n
  • On-call required one night weekly.
