There is also an option for Permanent Staff if you wish to not go the contract route. Potential opening with a sister facility in Ocala, FL, as well.

We are seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a contract opportunity with an established outpatient cardiovascular imaging practice in Tavares, Florida.

This team is highly flexible on scheduling and is focused on finding the right technologist. This is an opportunity to work in a specialized cardiovascular imaging environment supporting nuclear cardiology and advanced cardiac PET/CT services without the nights, call, or holiday requirements commonly associated with hospital-based positions.

What You'll Do

• Perform nuclear cardiology and other nuclear medicine imaging procedures
• Support cardiac PET/CT imaging workflows
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals orally and intravenously
• Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment to produce diagnostic-quality studies
• Follow radiation safety standards and ALARA principles
• Work directly with physicians and clinical staff throughout imaging procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation and efficient patient workflow

What We're Looking For

• CNMT through NMTCB OR ARRT(N)
• Graduate of an approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program
• 2+ years of recent Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience
• Nuclear cardiology experience preferred
• PET or PET/CT experience is highly desirable
• Comfortable administering radiopharmaceuticals orally and intravenously
