Travel PCU Stepdown RN

Role: Travel Stepdown RN
Responsibilities: Provide specialized care to patients transitioning from intensive care to medical-surgical units, including monitoring cardiac rhythms, administering medications, preparing equipment, and assisting with cardiac procedures. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, patient-centered care, and respond to emergency situations. Document patient assessments, educate patients on cardiac health, and maintain safety and infection control standards.
Qualifications: Minimum one year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN, valid RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications. Preferred certifications include PCCN and NIHSS. Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential. Must possess physical, technical, and sensory capabilities to perform duties effectively.
