PCU/Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN)
We are seeking experienced PCU/Stepdown nurses to provide high-quality care in a dynamic and engaging environment. This position will require strong assessment skills and the ability to manage patients with complex needs, specifically those requiring cardiac drip management and titration.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the PCU/Stepdown unit.
- Titrate and manage cardiac drips as per established protocols.
- Monitor vital signs and assess patient conditions regularly.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to create and implement individualized care plans.
- Floating between units is required during overstaffed conditions.
Shift Information
- Shift: Night, 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00)
- Weekends required: Yes, every other weekend
Patient Ratios
Expected nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4-5.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a current nursing license.
- Experience in PCU or Stepdown settings is mandatory.
- Cardiac drip management experience is a hard stop requirement.
- Strong critical thinking and effective communication skills.

Additional Information
