We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) role. The ideal candidate will have a background in cardiac care, stroke/neuro, tracheostomy care, thoracic surgeries, and post-operative care. You will be part of a dynamic healthcare team, focusing on providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced setting.

• Shift Details: 4x12s available
• Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2430 (negotiable)
• Weekend requirement: Yes
• Will be required to float to 9 BT units plus overflow areas
• Very rarely could float to Delnor, a 30-minute drive
• Patient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatrics
• Daily Census: 24
• Patient Ratios Days: 4
• Patient Ratios Nights: 5
• Patient Ratios Weekends: 5

• Provide direct patient care
• Administer medications, including cardiac drips
• Perform assessments and develop care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes

Required:

• Current State of Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Minimum of 1 year of direct experience
• Experience in telemetry
• COVID-19 Vaccine: Required - Medical Exemptions Only
• Flu Vaccine: Required - No Exemptions

Preferred:

• Experience with charting systems

• Pre-approved time off: 1 instance
• Orientation hours: 12
