Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Florence, SC Stepdown/PCU

Contract Nights, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) Every other weekend required Holiday rotation required

• Provide direct patient care in a Stepdown/PCU setting with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Chart and document patient information using Epic
• Float within scope to meet facility needs, consistent with expectations for staff nurses (agency staff may be floated first)
• Participate in holiday rotation as scheduled
• May be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June through November)

• Minimum 2 years of Stepdown/PCU or similar experience
• Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start date
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• Must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
• Previous permanent or PRN staff at this facility must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler

• NIHSS certification preferred
• Prior experience with Epic charting system
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

• Compact and smaller unit environment with a manageable 12-bed setting and free on-site parking
• Block scheduling may be available upon request and approval prior to assignment start
