Registered Nurse (RN)

As a vital member of the patient care team, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for the management and delivery of patient care to assigned individuals in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. This role operates within the scope of practice as delineated in the New York State Nurse Practice Act.

The RN will provide direct patient care, delegate or assign responsibilities as appropriate to other team members, and serve as a leader of the interdisciplinary team in collaboration with the attending physician.

• Deliver high-quality patient care in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
• Collaborate with health care team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient recovery and provide support during the therapeutic process.
• Document patient care activities in compliance with established protocols.
• Participate in procedural sedation and patient admissions/blocks and recovery.

• Must have 2+ years of experience in PACU.
• Experience with AM admissions, blocks, and recovery is required.
• Proven experience in procedural sedation.
• EPIC experience is mandatory.
• Current New York RN License, ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Must possess a personal vehicle for travel between locations.

Schedule: Work is required on weekends, specifically Friday through Sunday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
