American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with 1+ year of relevant experience for a 13-week hospital-affiliated outpatient therapy clinic assignment in Georgia. Details
Hospital-affiliated outpatient therapy clinic offering occupational, physical, and speech therapy services Average caseload of 10-15 patients per day, scheduled in 30-minute intervals with dovetailing Complex evaluations scheduled for 1 hour, with simple evaluations and treatments at 30 minutes Patient population includes general orthopedics, debility, stroke/CVA, neurological disorders, multi-trauma, and fractures Utilizes EPIC EMR system Day shift schedule with options of 5x8s or 4x10s, negotiable 40 hours per week over a 13-week schedule cycle No weekend rotation, on-call requirements, holiday coverage, or floating required Requirements
Active PT license required (license required if applicable) Georgia state licensure required BLS certification required Minimum 1 year of relevant physical therapy experience preferred Most recent experience should be within the last year EPIC EMR experience preferred Last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration At least 1 professional reference dated within the past year from a Supervisor, Manager, or Director Additional Information
Supportive department team includes 5 therapists, 1 Lead Therapist, 1 Office Coordinator, and 2 Rehab Aides Orientation includes New Employee Orientation (NEO) plus 5 days of departmental orientation Teal and black polo scrubs provided; slacks and clean shoes preferred Free parking available on site First-time travelers will not be considered for this position Candidates must be separated from any AHSE facility for at least 1 year if previously in a permanent position Local candidates accepted with no radius rule for Georgia facilities, same rate applies Up to 7 days of RTO may be approved if the traveler extends the contract to accommodate scheduling needs
