American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an Outpatient position requiring 1+ year of experience and Epic proficiency. Details
Primarily outpatient setting with occasional flexing to inpatient care Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM Patient caseload of approximately 10 visits per day Patient population includes general orthopedic, neurologic, disability, and generalized weakness cases Treats conditions such as cervicalgia, low back pain, post-op cervical/shoulder/spinal surgery, spinal conditions, total hip/knee replacement, cognitive disorders, MS, muscular dystrophy, Parkinson's disease, post-stroke rehabilitation, spinal cord injury, and traumatic brain injury Epic EMR experience required Requirements
Current BLS certification required LA State License required if applicable Minimum 1 year of recent physical therapy experience required Epic charting system experience required Experience with home exercise program development and patient/family education Prior travel assignment experience required Additional Information
Main responsibilities include patient assessment, orthopedic and neurologic treatment, home exercise program development, and patient/family education Maroon, wine, or burgundy scrub color required Orientation held five days a week No call requirements for this position Does not accept local candidates; must live 65+ miles from the facility Candidates who previously worked as permanent staff or in-house agency contractors must have a full year separation before returning as a traveler
