American Traveler is hiring an Outpatient Occupational Therapist with 1+ year experience to provide hospital-based outpatient lymphedema and orthopedic care. Details

Hospital-based outpatient rehabilitation department with a focus on lymphedema patient population . Works alongside OTs/OTAs, PTs/PTAs, SLPs, wound care clinic staff, compression fitters, and lymphedema vendors . Patient population ranges from young/middle adults to geriatrics with a variety of diagnoses, including lymphedema care . Patient ratio of approximately 1:5 . Day shift schedule, posted as 5x8s with 4x10s also available (7:00 AM to 5:30 PM) . No weekend or call requirements . May float within facility and scope of practice to an affiliated acute care inpatient facility as needed . Epic charting system experience required Requirements

Current GA OT license required (may be pending at time of submission) License required if applicable NBCOT certification required BLS certification required Minimum 1 year of experience required Epic charting experience required Community hospital experience preferred Lymphedema certification preferred First-time travelers accepted Additional Information

Provide outpatient occupational therapy services including evaluation, treatment planning, and discharge planning for a diverse adult and geriatric population Deliver lymphedema management and related therapeutic interventions in coordination with a multidisciplinary team Perform splinting (static, dynamic, and functional) as part of treatment plans Provide patient and family education on safety and injury prevention Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, which must be finalized at time of submission Holiday coverage required based on number of major holidays falling within the assignment period Full compliance required to start on time
