Travel RN - Main Operating Room (Days, 4x10)

Springfield, MO Acute Care

Contract 13-Week Travel Assignment Days, 4x10 (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM) Onsite

• Perform direct patient care activities for all age groups, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation across outpatient to critical care inpatient populations
• Assist with vascular surgery in the OR and Hybrid Imaging suite; support endoscopic and open cases alongside a team of nurses and surgical technicians
• Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care and maintain professional accountability for provision of care
• Coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient outcomes and comfort
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information in accordance with applicable standards
• Function within the scope of nursing practice consistent with established guidelines, including the Missouri Nurse Practice Act and applicable standards of care

• Current RN license - must meet eligibility criteria for licensure in the state of Missouri or currently hold a Missouri RN license
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Minimum 2 years of Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma experience (teaching hospital experience will be considered)
• Demonstrated experience as both a Scrub and OR Circulator
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption required November 1 - April 1; declinations are not accepted
• Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift; ability to push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs. and perform occasional kneeling, crouching, and crawling

• Level 1 Trauma experience with multiple years in a high-acuity OR environment
• Familiarity with robotic-assisted surgery, including DaVinci system operation
• Experience with EPIC EMR
• Highly motivated, self-starter personality with strong human relations and communication skills

• Work in a high-acuity Level 1 Trauma and Burn Center environment with a 1:1 patient ratio and access to advanced surgical technology
• Expected 36 hours per week with weekend and call requirements as needed, offering consistent clinical engagement in a well-recognized acute care setting
