Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) position in Springfield, Missouri. This assignment involves providing direct patient care within a busy surgical setting. The role requires collaboration with surgical teams to ensure quality outcomes and safety for all patients across various age groups.

Job Details

• Location: Springfield, MO
• Schedule: Nights, 4x10, scheduled between , minimum of 36 hours per week
• Shift Hours: 12 hours
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks

• Required Qualifications: Current RN License meeting Missouri licensure criteria, BLS certification from AHA, at least 2 years of experience in Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma, Scrub and OR Circulator experience, out-of-state candidates must be licensed in Missouri.
• Preferred Qualifications: Level 1 Trauma experience with multiple years of practice.
• Experience: Minimum of 0 years minimum experience, but 2 years of trauma experience preferred.
• Unit Information: 22 beds in Main OR, 8 beds in Ambulatory Surgery Center, 10 beds in Orthopedics.
• Patient Population: Outpatient to critical care inpatient.
• Skills/Experience: Demonstrated clinical expertise in surgical nursing, trauma care, scrubbing, and circulating.
• Additional Information: Night shift orientation on day shift; availability throughout the week required. Responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process, maintaining patient rights and confidentiality, coordinating patient care, and ensuring compliance with hospital standards and the Missouri Nurse Practice Act.

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
