American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for an outpatient therapy clinic, requiring 1+ year of outpatient OT experience. Details
Outpatient therapy clinic setting Treats outpatient orthopedic and neuro cases including strokes and TBI Also treats shoulder injuries/surgeries and pain, deconditioning, hand and elbow injuries, tendonitis, and wrist fractures Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with some flexibility in start/end times 40 hours per week No weekend rotation, call, or holiday coverage required No floating required Department includes 3 PTs, 3 OTs, and 1 COTA EMR: Cerner Millennium Requirements
Current OT state licensure required (compact or Maine license required if applicable) BLS certification required Bachelor's degree or higher required Minimum 1 year of experience required, including outpatient experience Proven competency to evaluate and treat outpatient patients Experience with ultrasound, e-stim, exercise bike and treadmill training, and strength training equipment Additional Information
First-time travelers will be considered if they have 5+ years of overall experience and outpatient experience Director of Rehab and Supervisor available by phone for support, though not on-site daily Scheduler manages patient scheduling Minimum 2 days of orientation provided prior to independently caring for patients, with preceptor support until fully ready Up to 7 days of RTO can be approved Dress code is business casual with no jeans (except Fridays), closed-toed shoes required, no graphic t-shirts, and professional scrubs without graphics or logos On-site parking available Flu vaccination required for clearance to start, with only medical exemptions accepted
