This position involves providing occupational therapy interventions to neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) patients. Position: Occupational Therapist (Inpatient)
Location: 450 E Romie Lane, Salinas, California, 93901
Schedule: Days shift, start time at 8:00 AM
Hours: 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Masters of Occupational Therapy, California Occupational Therapy license, current BLS/Healthcare Provider status per American Heart Association standards, minimum of 3 years occupational therapy experience including 1 year NICU experience, and education requirements listed above
Preferred Qualifications: NICU experience, patient assessment, care planning, educating patients and families, scheduling, fine motor skills intervention, adherence to safety standards, self-help skills intervention, documentation, cost-effective treatment planning, orientation of new employees, instructing and evaluating therapy students, charge therapist duties, courtesy in professional interactions, meeting department objectives, coordination with CCS case managers, development intervention, durable medical equipment intervention, high-quality and safe patient care, recording treatment information, issuing adaptive equipment, providing age-appropriate care
