Required Qualifications: BLS certification; active California State License; minimum of 2 years of experience in inpatient acute rehabilitation; possession of neuro occupational therapy experience; experience with assessments including cognitive, functional, and mobility evaluations; skills in adaptive equipment, splinting, and patient education; proficiency in Epic charting system.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in stroke, brain injury, SCI, oncology, and complex orthopedic patient populations; familiarity with high-acuity inpatient settings.
Additional Information: The role involves treatment of a diverse patient demographic, utilizing interdisciplinary support with physical, speech, and occupational therapists. The department is busy, with a daily census of 7-10 patients, addressing diagnoses such as stroke, orthopedic trauma, and complex medical conditions.
