Occupational Therapist Outpatient (OT OP) opportunity in San Francisco, California. Job Details:
Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Valid California occupational therapy license, educational background with a degree in Occupational Therapy, and at least 3 years of experience in outpatient hand therapy or related outpatient settings
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Hand/Upper Extremity Certification (AOTA - Hand/UE Certification), Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) preferred
Specialty: Occupational Therapy Outpatient (OT OP)
Experience: 3 years of outpatient hand therapy experience, including adult outpatient caseload, post-op orthopedic aftercare, and intricate hand/UE injury management
Skills: Adaptive Equipment assessment, Biofeedback, Manual therapy, Orthotics training, Therapeutic exercise programming, Ultrasound, TENS, Patient/Family Education, Orthopedic post-op protocols, and upper extremity rehabilitation techniques
Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
Additional Information: Flexibility to float between multiple facilities within the area, including opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration. Orientation hours total 24.
