Travel Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist (OT) Inpatient (Inpatient) position in Pittsfield, Maine. This role involves providing outpatient therapy services in a clinic setting, with an immediate start preferred. The position requires evaluating and treating patients with orthopedic and neurological conditions, adhering to clinic standards and protocols.
Job Details:
Schedule: Monday through Friday, , 40 hours per week, with some flexibility in shift start and end times.
Required Qualifications: Valid OT State Licensure, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, bachelors degree or higher in occupational therapy, at least 1 year of outpatient experience, willingness to accept first-time travelers with 5+ years of experience and outpatient background, and outpatient rehab skills including ultrasound, e-stim, exercise equipment training, and strength training.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with outpatient neuro conditions such as strokes and Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI), and proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system Cerner Millennium.
Additional Information: The position involves working with outpatient orthopedic and neuro patient types, including shoulder injuries/surgeries, pain management, deconditioning, hand injuries, elbow injuries, tendonitis, wrist fractures, and more. Support is available via phone from the director of rehab and supervisor. Orientation includes at least two days of training, with preceptor support until independence. A business casual dress code applies, with on-site parking available.
