Responsibilities / Qualifications
- Specialty: Labor and Delivery
- Discipline: RN
- Graduate from an accredited school
- Certifications may be required based on facility requirements
- 1 - 2 years’ experience preferred
- Monitor and coordinate patient care with health team members
- Administer medications as ordered with appropriate documentation
- Communicate and collaborate with physicians and other health team members
- Monitor patients’ responses to interventions and report outcomes
- Transports patients as needed and maintain cleanliness of rooms
- Maintain stock of supplies and participate in on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required
- Physical abilities to move and lift equipment (50-100 lbs), push/pull, bend and twist
- Provide patient care in accordance with unit procedures and standards
- Performs other duties as assigned
