Contract Nights Onsite

• Regularly assesses patient needs and provides skilled nursing services as prescribed by the physician-authorized plan of care and accepted standards of nursing practice.
• Provides direct patient care including medication administration, treatments, responding to call lights, assisting with transfers, and responding to alarms.
• Evaluates effectiveness of treatment plans and collaborates with the care team to update or revise plans using current clinical information.
• Processes physician and provider orders accurately, completely, and in a timely manner.
• Follows up regarding medication changes and order clarifications to ensure continuity of care.

• Active Michigan RN license (must reflect Active status via LARA and/or Nursys)
• Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Observation nursing experience
• Skills Checklist current within the past year, pertinent to Observation specialty
• 2 Supervisory Reference Forms completed within the last two years
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible - local candidates will not be considered

• Experience with Epic EMR
• Background working with outpatients assigned to observation status
