Role: Travel Stepdown Registered Nurse providing specialized patient care during a 13-week assignment.
Responsibilities Include
- Monitoring cardiac rhythms and vital signs, responding to abnormalities
- Administering medications and treatments, assisting with cardiac procedures
- Assessing patient conditions, documenting health information
- Providing patient education on cardiac health and safety
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care
- Ensuring safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance
Qualifications And Skills
- Minimum one year recent Stepdown RN experience
- Valid RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications
- Critical thinking, excellent communication, interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to move and assist patients and equipment
- Proficiency in reading instructions, documentation, and technology
- Ability to work under pressure, handle irregular activity, and maintain confidentiality
