Job Summary:
Telemetry (TELE) Nursing in a short-term acute care facility located in a tertiary care environment. This role involves providing specialized patient care on a neuro telemetry unit, with responsibilities encompassing neuro assessments, managing dysrhythmias, and coordinating post-surgical neurology patient needs. The position requires adaptability to rotating shifts and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: 1 year of total nursing experience, neuro or telemetry experience preferred, ACLS and BLS certifications, NIHSS certification preferred, active state license (compact license accepted), minimum 1-year recent experience in telemetry, as well as proficiency in charting with Epic.
• Preferred Qualifications: Neuro experience, comfortable with NIH scaling, skilled in neuro patient care including post-surgical management and stroke protocols.
• Float: Float may be required between units based on the organizations needs.
• Additional Information: Must be willing to work three of the five designated holidays. Candidates should not reach out directly to facility contacts unless for an agreed-upon interview. All modules must be completed prior to start, with training documented in Workramp transcripts. References covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) are required and should be provided during the compliance process.
