Description
American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for a night shift Float Pool position in a Southern California hospital, requiring EPIC experience and a CA RN license.
Details
- Float Pool unit within a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- 36 or 48-hour weekly shift options
- Requires EPIC experience
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required
- BSN preferred
- Acute care facility experience preferred
- Candidates with more than 5 days of RTO will not be considered
- Candidates with any prior disciplinary action on their license will not be considered
Additional Information
- Deliver coordinated nursing care according to established standards and the nursing process
- Supervise and direct various levels of nursing staff while coordinating care across disciplines
- Perform patient assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation of outcomes
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe and effective care
- Participate in discharge planning and provide patient/family education
- Located in Simi Valley, offering access to both outdoor recreation and urban attractions
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel candidates
- Holiday RTO requests will not be approved
- All associates must meet required vaccination standards, with medical and religious exemptions considered
