Job Summary

The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Springfield, Missouri. This role involves providing specialized care for newborn infants who are premature, have congenital deformities, or are experiencing delivery complications or life‑threatening illnesses. The position requires candidates to bring their license on the first day. The role involves working night shifts, with the potential for weekend and holiday assignments, and has a minimum schedule of 36 hours per week. The RN will float to Women & Newborn unit (post‑partum) as well as Pediatrics as needed.

Qualifications

• Required qualifications:
  • Valid RN license
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
  • 2 years NICU experience at level 3 or higher
  • Must provide license on first day
  • Previous travel experience preferred
• Preferred qualifications:
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
• Additional requirements:
  • Candidate must reside at least 100 miles away from the facility
  • If previously employed at the facility, must have been separated for at least 2 years
