Travel Nurse RN - NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care - $2,115 per week

Job Summary

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) registered nurses are needed at a facility in Naperville, Illinois. Candidates must have a minimum of two years of core NICU experience, with preference for Level 3 or Level 4 certification, and be capable of caring for critically ill infants, including ventilation and respiratory support such as CPAP. This assignment is scheduled for nights, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

• Location: Naperville, Illinois
• Schedule: 12‑hour night shifts, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, minimum 36 hours per week
• Preferred Qualifications: RNC certification (required: IL State Licensure, CPR, NRP certifications)
• Required Qualifications: Minimum 2+ years NICU experience; Level 3 or 4 certification preferred; ability to care for critical infants, including ventilation and CPAP; additional certifications such as RNC preferred.
• Additional Information: The environment is very fast‑paced, with approximately 5 admissions per day. Assignments may change during the shift. Orientation consists of 8 hours of billable time plus 4 hours of non‑billable time. Candidates may float to related units such as mother‑baby and pediatric units, and potentially to Elmhurst for special care nursery. Lunch breaks of 30 minutes are required.
