Staff Today is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a 13‑week assignment in King City, California.
Duration: 13 weeks. Hours: 36 per week (12‑hour nights).
Responsibilities
- Provide medical‑surgical care to patients, primarily non‑critical pediatric patients.
- Work 12‑hour night shifts from 7 p to 7:30 a.
- Float to the Skilled Nursing Department as required.
- Respond to up to three call‑offs per 13‑week period.
Compensation and Stipend
- Hourly rate $20.08 (gross wages $722.88 per shift).
- Traveler lodging $1,162.00.
- Travel M&I $504.00.
- Total travel stipend $1,666.00; total travel package $2,388.88.
- Hours in excess of 12 per day invoiced at 1.5×.
Requirements
- Active CA State Registered Nurse license.
- Valid BLS certification.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- At least 1 year recent medical‑surgical experience.
- Required certifications: ACLS, PALS.
