American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Med/Surg position on an orthopedic unit requiring an active IL RN license and 2-3 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Work on the 10th floor orthopedic unit within a hospital setting
• Primarily care for medical and surgical orthopedic patients
• 12-hour night shifts, three shifts per week
• No on-call requirements
• Provide comprehensive care to adult ortho medical/surgical patients
• Night shifts only
• Must be able to adapt to a busy orthopedic unit and function independently

Requirements

• Active Illinois RN license required
• 2-3 years of RN experience in medical/surgical settings
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Permanent address must be more than 50 miles from the facility
