Overview
TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Florence, South Carolina.
Responsibilities
- Provide bedside care for a variety of patients, including pre- and post-op patients.
- Prepare, administer and record prescribed medication, reporting any adverse reactions to treatment.
- Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
- Prepare equipment and aid physician during examination and treatment of patient.
- Educate patients on surgical procedures.
- Participate in discharge planning and initiate patient education plan as prescribed by physician.
Qualifications
- Specialty: Med Surg
- Discipline: RN
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12 hours, days
- Employment Type: Travel
- 2 years of recent acute care experience preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- One year of experience (as noted) with additional certifications potentially required before beginning an assignment
Requirements: BLS, 1 Year. Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
