Unit Specifics

• Number of Beds: 2 endoscopy suites
• Patient Ratios: 1:1 for circ; up to 2 pts for PACU, Preop 1:1 during preop questioning but may be up to 1:3 if waiting
• Unit staffing: 1 Circulator and 1 tech in the room; scope washer designated for the shift
• Equipment: Olympus scopes, OER Elite washer, ION robot
• Documentation System: Meditech Expanse and Provation
• Scheduling: Ranges from 6a-3p Monday-Friday based on assignment
• Floating policy: Float to the ASC and other surrounding facilities as needed

Qualifications

• Must have: Ability to perform advanced procedures such as ERCP and EUS; credentials and experience more than 1 year according to scope of practice
• Advanced skills needed: ERCP, EUS, Robotic bronchoscopy, EBUS
• Procedures performed on unit: Colonoscopy, EGD, Pill Cam, Bravos, ERCP, EUS, EBUS, ION, bronchoscopy, etc.
• Dress Code: Hospital-issued scrubs
