Job Summary
Electro Physiology Lab (EP LAB) Specialist in the healthcare provider setting. This role involves providing direct patient care within an electrophysiology (EP) laboratory, focusing on cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, conduction studies, and working with specialized equipment such as GE MacLab, Carto, and Abbott ablation systems. The position requires collaboration within an interdisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective care delivery for adult and geriatric patients.
Job Details
- Certifications: ACLS; required.
- Education & Experience: 2 years of experience in an EP laboratory environment; at least 2 years of clinical experience required; 0 years minimum experience.
- Location Requirements: CA State License uploaded within the last 2 weeks, Nursys verified.
- Schedule: Days shift, 4x10-hour days per week with start times varying from 7:30 to 10:00 AM, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Patient Care: Providing direct patient care for adults and geriatrics, including electrophysiology procedures and monitoring.
- Responsibilities: Circulating and monitoring for ablation cases, insertion and programming of AICDs and pacemakers, conducting conduction studies, and preparing for hybrid Operating Room procedures.
- Additional Information: One week of orientation, completion of non-billable modules during orientation, and adherence to compliance deadlines.
- Submission Requirements: All candidates must have recent work history verification for the past 7 years and submit applicable certifications with valid expiration dates, including AHA or ARC certifications.
