Job Summary
TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a travel nursing job in Great Falls, Montana. This is a 13‑week assignment, 12‑hour day shifts, 36 hours per week with travel type employment.
Responsibilities
- Provide critical care to patients with potentially life‑threatening heart conditions.
- Prepare and administer prescribed medications.
- Take samples for diagnostic tests; order, interpret and evaluate diagnostic tests.
- Apply hemodynamic, phlebotomy and IV protocols.
- Be called in for emergencies to provide CPR and operate defibrillators hospital‑wide.
- Educate patients and family members on how to manage recovery at home.
Requirements
- Certified in ACLS, BLS, PALS.
- 2 years of recent acute care experience, preferably cardiovascular intensive care.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean and stoop for long periods; ability to lift up to 20‑pound objects and occasionally up to 50‑pound patient transfers.
- Strong coping skills for a fast‑paced, urgent and critical care environment.
- Additional certifications may be required before assignment.
- Eligible to travel and willing to relocate to Great Falls, Montana.
